2009-06-01 Star Net Transport project meeting in Poznan Print

The next meeting of Star Net Transport project coordinators is going to take place in Poznan on June 16 - a day before the trade show  ITM POLAND 2009 - the “largest fair of modern technologies for industry in the New Europe” starts. Star Net Transport conference will specifically address small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from the Surface Transport sector, raising their awareness to the opportunities on the 7th Framework Programme (FP7). International experts will give to SMEs an overview of the existing mechanisms to support their R&D activities under FP7 and provide guidelines on how to build a successful strategy since the generation of ideas to the submission of proposals.

 

Participants will have the opportunity to also attend the TRANSPORTA 2009, the Exhibition of Logistics, Transport and Shipping, and the Transnational Technology Transfer Day, co-organised by the Star-Net Transport Project and Enterprise Europe Network where the participants will have the opportunity to match their knowledge needs with solution providers from all over Europe.

SEDC is one of the partners of Star Net Transport project which is funded by FP7 Programme. The aim of the Star-Net transport project is to be the first step towards the development of a consolidated structure to support the participation of European SMEs in Sustainable Surface Transport  activities, building on the knowledge, tools and services developed within some of the most relevant FP6-SUSTDEV support actions over the recent years and in future FP7-SST-SSAs projects. Lead partner of the project is INOVA+ from Portugal.
