Social enterprise Social and Economic Development Center has signed the grant contract for the project “The promotion of attraction and integration process of the third country scientists and researchers" with the Euopean Social Fund Agency that is managing European integration fund in Lithuania.

Project duration: from 2010-01-01 till 2010-12-31.

Concept of the project: Based on the analysis of Lithuanian universities and business cooperation and the best educational and intercultural communication practices in EU countries, to disseminate the information about attraction of highly skilled employees, techniques and practices to Lithuania.

Expected Results:

- Preparation of the Integration Manual for the companies and universities about the attraction and integration of the third country scientists and researchers, including the best practices from other EU countries
- Preparation of Mentor training programme and training mentors.
- Training scientists and researchers from the third countries.
- Organising conference on "Scientific and experimental development in Lithuania attracting researchers from the third countries: challenges and opportunities."

Amount of grant for the poject is 132 571,00 Litas (~38 000 EUR).
