cosi10 is a transformative event for social innovators, social entrepreneurs and their social ventures that’s happening all over the world in the second half of 2010.

    * A simple, self-organizing face to face unconference event.

cosi10 participants come together under the guidance of a local host who follows the cosi10 unconference event  guide. Through that process, participants network and learn from each other in dynamic collaborative conversation (in their local languages) about impact strategies, sharing resources for developing our skills, and planning what it takes to build thrivable social innovations and revenue models.     * An event momentum that lives on and builds between and after events

For 4 days per month, the cosi10 online co-working space opens at ned.com, where participants at local events in different parts of the world share the outcomes of their face-2-face learning group conversations, and connect with others to organize collaborative work which spans the globe. Participants to any face-to-face event are invited into the online event space during all 4 of the monthly event waves. Collaborative cosi10 activity groups will be invited to update the cosi10 community on their progress when the event space next opens.  Plans are already in motion to ensure that our local and global event content lives on, in very practical ways that are useful to a variety of stakeholders in the social innovation sector.     * An exciting opportunity for financial and technical support

Social innovators can pitch their projects in the live cosiEnterprise sessions to receive local and globally crowdsourced funding and technical support. Our global development systems are fundamentally broken – there has got to be a better way. cosi10 is designed to demonstrate simple methods for capturing the outcomes of self-organized networking events, in ways that perpetuate the event energy for continued alliance building, structured collaboration and social innovation sector learning online.
